Behind an idea
there’s always a fire burning
March 2021. The pandemic had brought everything to a halt—everything except our hunger to create something different. And so, between one lockdown and the next, Atled Meat Lab was born: a slightly crazy, slightly smoky idea with one clear goal.
We wanted to bring something to Venice that was missing: a real, artisanal smokehouse that fused American BBQ with a Venetian soul. A flavor lab where we could experiment, make mistakes, try again, and finally serve sandwiches that speak for themselves.
It’s been (and still is) a huge challenge. But just like any good smoked meat, great ideas take time, patience, and the right temperature. And us? We’ve never turned the heat down.
